There is a restaurant ""Podil East India Company"" on Mezhigirska street, in the centre of the capital, near the metro station “Kontraktova Plosha”.
Guests are greeted in a bar at the entrance to the restaurant. Two floors consist of four separate halls - original hold room, blue room with soft lighting and wooden masks as a decoration, bright hall with an abundance of live plants and panoramic window, hall with chamber furnishings and Buddha statues.
There are dishes from cuisine of India, Malaysia, Indonesia. Guests can order first courses and snacks, salads and desserts.
Specialties of the house are:
- Thai cream soup of cauliflower, coconut milk, lime and chilli,
- pikeperch, stewed in potatoes and aubergines with sea-buckthorn sauce,
- salad tandem light and dark grapes with herbs, lemon juice and spices,
- cheese tofu with broccoli and hot pasta,
- pate from chicken liver with ginger-orange jam.
- Among the desserts there are special ones:
- pie of yoghurt, coconut, lime and lime leaf,
- rice dessert with coconut milk, tarhoon, root of ayr and cinnamon.
The bar list includes original author's cocktails, stored in barrels: ""Masala Milk Punch"" on the basis of classical bourbon, ""Milk Punch"" with dark rum, honey and freshly ground masala, and ""East India House Cocktail"" based on brandy with raspberries and cherry liqueur.
