Family restaurant “IL GATTO ROSSO” is located on the picturesque Obolonska embankment.
Original interior recreates the atmosphere of authentic Italian cafe. It is designed in light pastel shades. Three separate halls are furnished with soft sofas, live plants and flowers, shelves are decorated with figurines and statuettes of red cats, and there are plasma and projectors on the walls.
Guests can enjoy the most popular Italian dishes in the author's interpretation of chef. All the dishes are cooked just after order.
Specialties of the house are:
- author's salads "Sicilian", "Di Salmon", "Seafood" and "Di Vitello",
- tomato soup "Pappa al pomodoro" with basil,
- mussels in creamy sauce,
- red risotto with sea cocktail, Black Sea mussels and Parmesan,
- "Minestrone" soup,
- salmon steak with grilled vegetables,
- sautéed seafood,
- mussels in creamy sauce,
- veal tagliata with truffle sauce.
Guests can order complex breakfasts in the morning, and guests are served three-course lunches in the afternoon, lunch menu is updated every two weeks.
There is a separate children's menu.
Flour and some other ingredients are supplied from Italy.
Alcohol menu includes various brands of Italian wines, there are red and white homemade Italian wines, special homemade lemonades and homemade teas, fresh juices.
Each small guest is presented with a candy in the form of a cat as a gift. Culinary master-classes for children are held here.
Guests can enjoy divine music, performed by a saxophonist and violinist, in the evenings. Summer area is open during warm season.
