"Filvarok" is a fast-food network of restaurants of Western-Ukrainian ethnic cuisine, located on the territory of tourist complex “Bukovel”.
Menu is based on classical Ukrainian and authentic Hutsul dishes, cooked according to traditional recipes using fresh, natural local products.
Specialties of the house are:
- Zakarpattya banosh with bacon and feta cheese,
- dumplings with wild boar meat, potatoes, mushrooms,
- holodets,
- salted mushrooms,
- red borshch,
- mushroom soup,
- deruny baked in pots with sour-cream, mushrooms and veal,
- cheese plate,
- pumpkin pancakes,
- grilled trout,
- homemade cheese cakes
- honey cake.
Special snack is Ukrainian lard, served on a tasting plate, and special gastronomic cheeses from the local Belgian farmer Bernard Willem.
Special home hrenovuha is made on the root of horseradish and honey. Traditional bograch, as well as pilaf, lagman and shurpa, are cooked in a special cauldron on open fire on weekends.
Colourful interior is made in traditional Ukrainian style. Designers used carved wood, embroidery, and ancient objects of Hutsul's life as thematic decor elements.
