Description
There is a cafe “Krymskie kanikuly” on Velyka Vasilkivska, in the heart of Kyiv. It is a cozy hall for up to 60 guests. Original and bright interior is made in modern style with elements of minimalism and ethnic elements of decor. The hall is equipped with screens with carved ornaments, woven panels are on the walls, and soft light is poured from the original lamps. There is a cafe “Krymskie kanikuly” on Velyka Vasilkivska, in the heart of Kyiv. It is a cozy hall for up to 60 guests.

Original and bright interior is made in modern style with elements of minimalism and ethnic elements of decor. The hall is equipped with screens with carved ornaments, woven panels are on the walls, and soft light is poured from the original lamps. The main decoration of the hall is a handmade painted wall, which shows panoramic view for Crimean beach. There is an open kitchen opposite this wall, so guests can watch the process of cooking of any dish.

Menu is based on traditional Tatar and oriental cuisine. The main emphasis is on cheburks and yantyks. Chebureks are cooked with veal, lamb, chicken, mushrooms, as well as tomato, cheese and herbs. Yantyks differs from cheburekswith cooking method, they are fried on dry frying pan without oil.

Specialties of the house are:

  • salad "Crimean holidays" with grilled chicken, Bulgarian pepper and Crimean onion,
  • humus with veal,
  • lagman with veal,
  • cold soup "Matsoni",
  • shurpa with lamb,
  • Tatar pilaf with chickpea,
  • fried dumplings "Chuchvara",
  • steak from veal with potatoes,
  • special cramble with quince,
  • coconut mousse,
  • Napoleon cake.

Coffee is made in Turkish, and withdifferent spices: cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, prunes. There are also five kinds of special Crimean tea.

The bar has Crimean wines and strong alcohol, as well as a number of author's cocktails, like "Deckchair on the beach" and "Crimean Mary".
