"Lubchik" is a family restaurant, located on Vozdvizhenska street, near the metro station "Kontraktova ploshcha".
Guests are served traditional dishes of Odesa and Bessarabian cuisine. The main emphasis is made on crayfishes, cooked according to different recipes in several ways: baked, fried, boiled in beer and milk.
Specialties of the house are:
- crayfish with home-made sausage and baked potatoes,
- mussels in original sauce,
- seafood sauce, honey sauce,
- forshmak,
- hummus,
- salad "Bessarabian burrata",
- rice with Black Sea rapans, mussels and crustaceans,
- pan of Moldovan soup Zama,
- chicken with adjika and garlic,
- pork, stewed in Kherson tomatoes with bulgur,
- boiled lamb with hummus.
There are special sweets: prunes, stuffed with nuts in sour cream.
Four sorts of draft beer are offered: Zhigulivske, Andriyivskyi Ale, Export dark and Hopfen. Also crafting positions of beer from Ukrainian breweries Varvar, White Rabbit and K&F are represented. There is a number of special alcoholic cocktails.
The restaurant occupies two floors, where the first one is beer bar, decorated with fishing net. The second floor is occupied by spacious main hall with contact bar counter. Interior is decorated in light grey and sand colours and live plants.s.
