There is a restaurant-bistro "Kanapka-bar” in the heart of Andriyivskyi uzviz street. It is located in old house, built in the early twentieth century.
Original interior of the restaurant reminds urban house of intellectuals of that time: soft sofas all around the perimeter of the hall, brick walls and shelves with books, panoramic windows and mirrors, live plants and lamps in the form of candlesticks. Wine cabinet is equipped instead of bar counter. It is designed in beige, brown, white and emerald shades.
Menu is based on traditional dishes of European and Ukrainian cuisine in modern interpretation. The main attention is paid to special canapés: with chopped salted trout, apples and cucumber under spicy sauce, marinated foie gras and horseradish jelly, as well as buckwheat pancakes of four kinds, eel from lakes Shatski, julienne of crayfish, veal tar, smoked catfish.
