There is a restaurant ""Fabbrica"" on Velyka Vasilkivska street, not far from Lva Tolstogo metro station in the very centre of Kyiv.
There is a bar counter at the entrance to restaurant, then — two halls, one of which has real Italian oven and open-type kitchen.
Original interior recreates the atmosphere of the factory: a lot of natural wood, brick, metal and tiles as materials for finishing, laconic furniture, panoramic windows and lamps in the form of spotlights and lamps.
Menu is based on traditional dishes of Italian cuisine, made from local farm products.
The pride of the house is the flour of its own grind and cheeses, which are made in a special workshop in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Here guests can find different types of pasta, pizza with different fillings, polenta, soups, a variety of salads.
Specialties of the house are:
- pizza with author's cheeses,
- pizza with tulle in Odessa, with raw veal and sun-dried tomatoes,
- marinara with fried calf's brains,
- spaghetti with fried calf's brains,
- ravioli with spinach, homemade ricotta and raw yolk,
- cappellacci with chicken-mushroom mousse,
- salad with wheat, grapefruit and arugula,
- pate from black beans and duck liver,
- chicken broth with spinach and fresh paste,
- tomato and vegetable soup,
- soup puree from potatoes and celery with veal heart.
There are original delicacies: chamomile panne-cotta, ice-cream ""Halva"".
The alcohol list has craft Varvar beer, Ukrainian brandy from Buchach, as well as limoncello and Oranello of its own production.
