One of the restaurants of network "Khinkalnya" is located on Nyzhniy Val. Simple and cozy interior, decorated in bright colours, recreates the atmosphere of hospitable Georgian house. Ancient Georgian pattern is used as decor, walls and screens are with Pirosmani paintings, handmade ceramics is on the shelves. There is one spacious hall, it can host up to fifty people.
Traditional Georgian dishes, cooked by chefs according to classical recipes, are served. Menu contains three main dishes - khinkali, khachapuri, kharcho.
Specialties of the house are:
- khinkali with meat, with meat and greens, as well as with cheese,
- harcho,
- khachapuri in Adjarian,
- guruli with cheese and boiled egg stuffing,
- chihirtma,
- pork with potatoes-ojjahuri,
- chicken in Chkmerulian,
- kublari with veal and pork,
- chashushuli with tomatoes, veal and bell peppers.
The restaurant bakes home bread of two kinds: shoti and black. And also they cook sauces tkemali and satsibeli. There are special sweets: grape-apple souffle with addition of raisins "Pelamushi" and baklava with nuts.
Natural black coffee is served, and an assortment of white and red Georgian wines, as well as special chacha are offered.
