There is a gourmet restaurant “Klukva & Brukva” in the very centre of Kyiv, on Antonovycha street, near the metro station “Ploshcha Lva Tolstogo”.
The main feature of the institution is principle of locavorism. Here guests are represented an assortment of dishes, made with seasonal products in national culinary traditions. Author's and popular Slavic cuisine dishes are offered.
The restaurant has stove, where buns, cakes, meat, buckwheat salty pancakes and homemade bread are baked.
Menu offers complex business-lunches. In addition, salty products, marinades, jam and marmalades are represented on a seasonal basis.
Specialties of the house are:
- pate from chicken liver with Maderah jelly,
- roast beef salad, spinach, celery and dried tomatoes,
- borshch with wild duck and dried plums,
- mussels with herbs and garlic from the oven,
- roast beef fried in oven with onion strudel,
- cutlet in Kyiv with marmalade from red cabbage,
- cheese Poltava galushkas with mushrooms stew,
- dumplings of pike perch with sauce of pike caviar.
Desserts are cheesecake with cottage cheese and salty caramel, Kyiv cake, hot poppy cake and ice-cream on ryazhenka.
Special lemonade of parsley and juniper water, home teas, a number of special tinctures and craft beer are offered.
There are two floors with spacious halls and two summer terraces. Interior is dominated in sand and grey shades, brick masonry and lots of live plants, stand-shelf with Zakarpattya wines.
