There is a cozy Georgian restaurant “Mama Gochi”, located in the very center of the capital, on Arhitektora Gorodetskogo street, opposite the cinema "Ukraina”.
Interior is decorated in modern eclectic style: light and pastel shades, deep sofas and armchairs, numerous mirrors, forged decor elements and live plants.
There are spacious glazed terrace, at the entrance there is a staircase leading to large wine cabinet, main halls and cozy bar. Wide selection of traditional Kakheti and Megrelian dishes is offered.
Specialties of the house are:
- gebzhali,
- homus with homemade bread,
- kharcho Nadikvari and kharcho in Megrelsky,
- mountain trout Kalmakhi with tarkhunum in lavash,
- stewed calf's heart and lungs with adzhika and pomegranate "Kuchmachi", served hot directly in ketse,
- chashushuli from veal with tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, and green spicy pepper,
- chvyshtari from corn flour with cheese suluguni, khachapuri in Adzharski with egg,
- shish-kebabs and lulya-kebabs, which are cooked in oven-tone.
Also there is an assortment of homemade cheeses.
The restaurant serves special, nuts stuffed with goat's condensed milk, gozinaki with pelamushi - grape marmalade or a happy cake with goat's custard.
There is a huge collection of Georgian wines: brut, dry, semi-dry and semi-sweet, white, red and pink wines, as well as wine in quevry: special clay amphorae, placed in the ground and kept there for half a year.
Here wine can be tasted by glass, in addition, there is a professional sommelier in the restaurant, which provides guided tours for the guests.
Also there are author's tinctures on chacha: musk, churchchele or strawberry with chilli and lulya-kebab.
