Restaurant “Zolotaya podkova” is located not far from the metro station "Petrovka" in the district Obolon of the capital. There are main hall, as well as spacious banquet hall with a stage and separate cabinet.
Original interior combines the atmosphere of ancient French country house and Ukrainian traditions. Guests can observe collectible renovated furniture in the halls, as well as antique household items: porcelain and copper dishes dating back to the nineteenth century, lamps, vases and rushnyks. VIP rooms are equipped for small companies.
Traditional and author's European cuisine dishes are cooked on the basis of natural and fresh products.
Specialties of the house are:
- fruit duck fillet and red orange sauce,
- rack of lamb in cheese with vegetables and anise and BBQ sauces.
Chefs cook on grill special tiger prawns, scallops "Saint-Jacques", as well as baked potatoes with pods, pork shish-kebab, veal, chicken with addition of original sauces.
There are dishes, served to guests on hot-roast frying pans, — calf liver with onions in potato pancake with baked apple, ducking roast with eggplant and Nagiras sauce.
Pancakes with cottage cheese and raisins, strudel with cherries, nuts and ice-cream are offered. Live music, performed by the accordionist and saxophonist, sounds here on weekend. The banquet hall has modern karaoke system.
