One of Italian network cafe "Rukkola" is located near the metro station "Darnitsa", on the territory of shopping centre "DOMA".
There is a real fountain from stone at the entrance to the cafe, spacious hall is decorated with fresh plants, pots with cherry tomatoes, basil, cilantro and lemongrass. The hall is zoned with wooden vases with live plants. Interior of "Rukkola" recreates the atmosphere of traditional Italian trattoria in warm sand and terracotta hues, and there are wooden shelves with kitchen utensils, as decor.
There is an open kitchen, where traditional Italian dishes are cooked. The main emphasis is made on the variety of thin pizza baked in Neapolitan oven. In addition, guests can order several types of handmade pastas, steaks of varying degrees of roasting, salads, first courses and desserts.
Specialties of the house are:
- salad with roast beef and mustard sauce,
- pizza with smoked duck, Pilate tomatoes and mozzarella,
- risotto with toasted beef,
- lasagna with chicken,
- ravioli with rabbit,
- pike perch with celery puree and spicy-sweet vegetables,
- mushroom cream soup,
- minced beef steak with mushroom sauce,
- dorado on grill,
- tar-tar of beef with Philadelphia cream,
- fettuccine with salmon and Gorgonzola sauce.
Guests are served complex business-lunches on weekdays.
There are special desserts "Rukkola" and classical Italian delicacies: tiramisu, panna-cotta with strawberry sauce, blueberry cheese cake, hot chocolate flan with vanilla ice-cream.
Traditional wines of the provinces of Tuscany, Liguria and Veneto are offered. There are coffee mixes, culinary master-classes for kids in cooking of Italian pizza are held in the cafe, as well as spacious children's playroom is equipped.
