There is a cozy meat restaurant "Smorodina" not far from the bay in Rusanovskiy Park in Kyiv.
Interior of two-storey building is made in light pastel colours and complemented with panoramic windows and original chandeliers from spoons and tea cups.
Special feature of the house is an open kitchen, where ordered dishes are cooked in front of the visitors. Menu is a mix of popular dishes of European and American cuisine. The main emphasis is made on meat dishes, cooked in josper, on grill and in oven.
Guests can order various meze and salads, rolls and snacks, carpaccio and tartars, pizza with various fillings, snacks for large companies, soups and main dishes, dishes, cooked on open fire, sauces, side dishes and desserts.
Specialties of the house are:
- steaks Ribeye and Fillet Mignon,
- Moroccan-style lamb with dried figs, dates and grains of pomegranate,
- chicken marinated in oriental herbs,
- salmon steak with asparagus,
- home-made WOK noodles with ceps and Peking cabbage,
- dumplings with rabbit,
- salmon carpaccio with tomatoes, arugula and Gorgonzoll cheese,
- tuna with avocado, tomatoes and truffle oil,
- "Dragon" salad with smoked eel and avocado,
- crispy tiger shrimps with spicy sauce,
- shish kebab from pig`s neck in classical marinade,
- panne cotta with strawberry sauce,
- chocolate fondant with passion fruit sorbet,
- homemade ice-cream.
In addition, there are menu with oysters and banquet menu for celebrations.
The wine list contains Italian, New Zealand, Argentine wines, some of them can be tasted by glass.
