"Rukkola" is a family network cafe on Khreshchatyk.
Original interior recreates the atmosphere of traditional Italian restaurant. Designers used brick masonry, soft furniture of bright shades of red and green, striped sofas and pillows, lampshades and live plants, as decor. Chefs specialise in cooking of traditional dishes of Italian cuisine.
Menu focuses on a wide range of Neapolitan handmade pizza, pasta, light salads and soups from natural products and ingredients straight from Italy. Thin pizza is baked in a real wood-burning oven. In addition, menu offers a large selection of meat dishes, cooked on charcoal.
Specialties of the house are:
- salad with roast beef and mustard sauce,
- pizza with smoked duck, Pilate tomatoes and mozzarella,
- risotto with stewed beef,
- lasagna with chicken,
- ravioli with rabbit,
- fettuccine with salmon and spinach,
- pike-perch with mashed potatoes and celery spicy-sweet vegetables,
- cream soup of white mushrooms,
- minced beef steak with mushroom sauce,
- dorado on grill,
- special desserts "Rukkola",

- panna-cotta with strawberry sauce,

- hot chocolate flan with vanilla ice-cream.
Traditional wines of Tuscany, Liguria and Veneto are offered. There are coffee mixes in menu.
